In 1975 Joe Walsh was on an upward curve. ‘So What’ had peaked at #11 in a 23 week chart stay in the USA and his summer tour with Bob Seger had sold out. Even ‘Turn To Stone’ a brilliant song, had got to #93 on the single chart.
Seger was on the verge of massive success in 1976 after years of grating hard on the road. But ‘Beautiful Loser’ had stalled at the #131 on the Billboard 200 in 1975 though would later sell over 2 million copies when everything finally came up Bob.
