I want them all...

I want them all...
Authored By John Nicholson
I think I’m going to see if I can collect all the records released as a live recording of a festival. In fact, I might already have everything. This occurred to me recently after getting the Mar-Y-Sol double album of that festival (which is excellent, by the way. I’ve got several already, including  Woodstock, obviously. Jimi and Otis Redding at Monterey, The Mamas And Papas at Monterey, the triple release of Texas International Pop Festival and Isle of Wight, The First Great Rock Festivals Of The Seventies - Isle Of Wight / Atlanta Pop Festival.
Monsters of Rock 1980, Hendrix’s release from Isle of Wight and Taste, ELP (CD), Moody Blues and (CD) The Who’s (CD) latter day release. Medicine Ball Caravan recorded Live in 1970 or '71 at various concerts & music festivals across the country as the Caravan moved from state to state in their buses. Message To Love∙ The Isle Of Wight Festival 1970 (CD) recording and selections from Monterey Pop Festival 1967( CD ).
There can’t be many others. I’m particularly interested in selective tracks rather than complete sets. Do you know of anything? There were plenty of festivals from the late 60s and early 70s but I don't know how many had recording equipment.
I have tracks from the Band at Watkins Glen on CD and also The Allman Brothers Band – Live At The Atlanta International Pop Festival July 1970.
I have Deep Purple’s Knebworth album, which is hard to get, but I don’t think there are any releases from the 70s shows, which is a shame. I do have the 1990 release from Knebworth with Genesis, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Elton John and Paul McCartney, amongst others. They are an important part of rock n roll and counterculture history, so I want them all.
