About the Product
There were only 32 Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons programmes made and they ran on UK TV from 1967-68 and were broadcast in 40 countries. Set in 2064 - which doesn't seem that far away now - Spectrum (and this is their logo, as I'm sure you know) were tasked with defending Earth from the Mysterons who came from Mars and who were only provoked into attacking the Earth because we accidentally blew up their city. So, In fact, the earthlings are to blame for the whole thing. There's a lesson there, I think.
