A previous incarnation of Stan Webb's Chicken Shack had released a live album called 'Goodbye Chicken Shack' in 1974 recorded at Brunel University. They were such an incendiary live band, live was their natural setting. This was recorded live at the Bridge House, Canning Town, London in 1981, a time when blues and blues rock was very unfashionable in the UK. But that didn't stop Stan, one of the country's primo blues dudes.
