About the Product
Their 1977 debut album was one of those records that everyone who heard it thought it was excellent but which nonetheless only got to #135 in USA and didn't chart in UK. Michael Des Barres ex-Silverhead, was on board as singer, former Yes man Tony Kaye on keys, Michael Monarch, was on guitar. He'd played with Steppenwolf and they made a fantastically crunchy noise. Signed to Swansong I think we all thought they'd be huge, but it never happened. A second album the following year made #103 and that was it. Maybe if they'd formed 4 years earlier they'd have been a big hit. Jimmy Page was a fan and Joe Elliott too.
