It got to #19. To promo it, the NME gave away highlights of the album on a flexi-disc, which is where 13-year-old me first heard it and laughed so hard I could barely breathe. I used to know it all off by heart. I had literally never heard anything as funny as ‘Election Night’ and Tarquin Fin-tim-lin-bin-whin-bim-lim-bus-stop-F'tang-F'tang-Olé-Biscuitbarrel. Brilliant.
