This 1966 release on Chess, pulled together songs recorded in Chicago between 1957 and 1964, most previously unissued. The likes of Willie Dixon, Otis Spann, Buddy Guy and the great Robert Lockwood Jr. play on it. An important release and major influence on the British Blues Boom. Sonny Boy had, of course, toured over here in '64 and recorded a live album with the Yardbirds.
