About the Product

Tangerine Dream didn’t really tour albums the way most bands did as they were creating original music a;long the way. In 1975 they famously played a 14-date UK tour that included gigs at York Minster, Liverpool Cathedral and Coventry Cathedral, which I’m sure was awesome. To hear those throbbing analogue sequencers in such places must’ve given you the shivers. They played the newly opened Vale Hall in Aylesbury, a 1250 seat venue which the Friars music club ran, their third such venue which they operated until 1984, reviving the organisation in 2009.

9 days later, the band used part of their performance at Fairfield Halls, Croyden for the second side of ‘Ricochet’ (#40 UK) released in December 1975 which I thought was a totally live album but in fact the first side was recorded in the studio at The Manor.
