This was his second trip to the UK on the tour, having played a few shows in September ‘76 on the back of his appearance at Reading Festival in 1976. The album got to #33 in UK and #24 in the USA in a 32-week stay.
Steve Gibbons would have a peak commercial year in 1977 with ‘Tulane’ a summer hit, peaking at #12 in the UK and ‘Caught In The Act’ a magnifico live album which peaked at #22 in the UK, his only charting album.
