Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Listen To Her Heart 12" Single T-shirt

This was a limited edition 12" single that came out in UK in 1978. The A side was Listen to Her Heart which was played at 45RPM, the B-side was a live recording from earlier that year in Boston, which plays at 33 1/3.

While the two previous singles 'Anything That's Rock n Roll' and 'American Girl' had made the top 40 in UK, this release didn't fare as well, failing to trouble the scorers. It did make #59 on the Billboard chart. As it's obviously become a brilliant, stone cold classic song I was sure it must have been a top 20 record. The live side well illustrates just what a great, tight, road-hardened rock n roll band they were already. Stunning stuff.
